Eachine LAL 5Style 4S / Eachine LAL 5Style 6S is a 5 inch FPV Racing/Freestyle quadcopter; like its competitor, the iFlight Nazgul5 V2, it comes both in BNF (Bind aNd Fly) and PNP (Plug aNd Play) version. The BNF version offers two types of FrSky receivers:
- FrSky R-XSR
- Frsky XM+
This is ideal if you have a Taranis transmitter, like the Taranis X9D Plus SE 2019, which is one of the best transmitters at the moment. Otherwise, you can choose the PNP version (without receiver) so you can equip the Eachine LAL 5Style with your preferred receiver (for example, if you have a FlySky transmitter you can use the Flysky X6B 2.4G 6CH i-BUS PPM PWM Receiver for AFHDS, which is very good).

The FPV camera provided with the Eachine LAL 5Style is the Caddex Ratel 1200TVL, which is one of the best FPV camera on the market. Camera specs are reported here:

Motors and Propellers
The Eachine LAL 5Style mounts the Eachine 2307 1850KV 6S / 2450KV 4S motors. They are pretty powerful and beware that 6S ones drain batteries pretty rapidly.
Motors are combined with 5046 Racestar 3-blade propellers.
ESCs and FC stack
The 4in1 ESCs is a 50A 3-6S loaded with Blheli_32:
The Flight Controller is the LAL-F405 BT which is flashed with Betaflight 4.0.3 using DSHOT1200. Here are the specs:

A very nice feature is the possibility to configure Betaflight using Speedy Bee App thanks to the built in bluetooth module on the FC. The stack is soft mounted, so mechanical vibrations are reduced and do not influence gyro readings.
In order to avoid death rolls, it is a good idea to change digital idle from 2.5 to 5.5.
VTX
VTX equipped is the TX805, which is power switchable via TBS smart audio up to 800mW; it features MMCX connector for the 5.8GHz antenna.

Battery
Like all BFN/PNP configurations, battery is not included. The power cable wire for plugging in the battery is a 12AWG with XT60H connector.
A good choice for the 6S version is the TATTU 1300mAh 22.2V 75C 6S Lipo Battery. For the 4S version, a good option is the TATTU 1550mAh 14.8V 75C 4S Lipo Battery Pack.
HD Camera
Eachine LAL 5Style comes with TPU mount for GoPro Hero 5/6/7.
If you do not own a GoPro Hero and you are looking for a valid alternative, you can go for the Runcam 5, which can record FPV videos also in 4k@30fps (here you can find an overview of the camera).
Conclusions
Eachine LAL 5Style 4S / Eachine LAL 5Style 6S is a good BNF/PNP freestyle FPV drone and for that price probably you cannot find something better. It has some pretty decent components and it can be a valuable alternative to the iFlight Nazgul5 V2 4S / iFlight Nazgul5 V2 6S, which has certainly better specs, but it is more expensive.
